Malbec and beyond

There is no doubt – Malbec is Argentina’s star grape. 

What makes this even more intriguing is how Argentina has truly captured the essence of the grape, giving it a distinct sense of place. The differences between Malbec wines from the various regions of Mendoza are noticeable, and the contrast only grows more apparent when traveling north to Salta or south to Patagonia.

When you factor in the choices made in both the vineyard and the winery, the result is an impressive range of styles. No other country in the world achieves such a level of diversity with just one grape variety.

Beyond the dominant Malbec and its blends, there are exceptional white wines and many other superb reds waiting to be discovered.
